Coercive control undermines personal values and leaves people with feelings of helplessness. At JSEC-Investigations we empower our clients by conducting thorough assessments of communication devices to ensure privacy is respected, maintained and enforced.

We provide education on digital security and promote online safety to help protect our clients. 

​Our strategic cyber advise ensures survivors of abuse are informed on topics such as:

• How to change SSID and passwords on home wi-fi and bluetooth devices

• Safeguarding passwords and the use of password managers

• Privacy settings on Social Media sites and how to apply advanced security protocols

• Spyware on devices and hidden cameras inside the home

• Implementing the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

• Internet of Things (IoT) and their hidden vulnerabilities

• Applying appropriate parental controls for children and young people
  
  

Jsec-Investigations actively supports the #PlayitFairOnline campaign and endorses the Safer Internet Day.
